Anzac weekend

 
 
 
 
wasnt it a fabulous weekend. the mayfield clan made their way to the oval and attended the anzac ceremony and march. I think its so important for us to teach our young the importance and respect of rememberence.
we had a great 3 day break which included lots of crafty goodness. and an angel from melbourne arrivee today her name is Roz (andrews mummy and zoes mum in law) who has fixed my overlocker yay!!

on tuesday the girls got together for another dose of craft, there was a lot going on, sewing, unpicking, knitting , fabric cutting brooch making to name a few. Its alsways so inspiring to see what everyone is up to and to pass on great ideas. There was great tea and goodies to eat and of course lots of chatting, i heart craft nights x

Finders Keepers Market

So I have been toying with the idea of going to this Market, ive only heard fantastic things about it. The girls and I went to the Perigian Markets on sunday but was a little slow. I need to have faith restored and attend a vibrant funky market , what ate your thoughts...... also just recieved another brown boxed package fromn the depositry, "the sartoriolist"....... it is gorgeous will show pics in later posts. We have craft penciled in at Jess' tom night , i heart craft night with the girls. will fill you in next time, until then my sweets x

The girls and I headed down to Brisbane to South Bank and went to the Hat Exhibition. Was such a fun day. the exhibition was amazing bu Stephen Jones and all the way form the V&A Museum x

The Book Depositry

My on going love of internet shopping continues... i heart the book depositry , great prices and great selection of books, lovingly packaged and posted from the United Kingdom. Who dosent love a parcel in the post.
my neighbours have had their heads buried in the steig larsson books recently , so i might as well join them as they sound fantastic. i stumbled upon the other at Buderim books and it looked sweet (love the cover) will review in the near future x

was at my proper job today , i had such a busy weekend i feel like another few days to recover! ah well cannot wait for thursday the girls and i are having a crafty home day then on friday we are heading to Brisbane to G0ma gallery of modern art. i heart school holiday trips.
